# Customers: your subscribers grouped with their monthly value

> Your store's subscriber view: how many subscriptions each customer has, how many orders they generated, their monthly value and their complete history.

The **Customers** section shows your subscribers as people, not as loose subscriptions: it groups every subscription by email and gives you the picture of what each customer is worth and since when they've been around.

## The list

A paginated table with one row per customer:

| Column             | What it shows                                                                                                        |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Customer** | Name (taken from the shipping address) and email |
| **Subscriptions**  | Active out of total (e.g. "2 active of 3")                                                                           |
| **Orders** | Number of orders generated by their subscriptions |
| **Monthly value** | The sum of their active subscriptions, normalized to a month — a biweekly subscription contributes double its amount |
| **Customer since** | The date of their first subscription |

## A customer's profile

Opening a customer shows their totals (active and total subscriptions, orders, monthly value, tenure) and a **"View customer in Shopify"** link that opens their native profile, with their full purchase history in the store.

Below that:

* **Subscriptions**: each one as a card with its status, next charge, product, frequency, amount and direct access to its [detail](/en/merchant/subscriptions).
* **Order history**: all of the customer's subscription orders, with the type (**Suscripción · Primera compra** for the first order or **Suscripción · Renovación N°N** for renewals, plus the one-time purchases that traveled in each one), the product, the total amount and the link to the order in Shopify.
* **Contact and shipping**: the address and phone number on file.

<Tip>
  This is the view for handling a complaint: you look the customer up, see everything they have at a glance and go straight into the subscription that needs attention. To search by name, email or phone you can also use the search box in the [Subscriptions](/en/merchant/subscriptions) section.
