# Add-ons: add extra products to your next shipment cycle

> Add-ons let you add a one-off item to your next cycle. It's charged immediately and ships together with your regular subscription.

Sometimes you want to receive something extra in your next shipment without changing your plan permanently. That's what **add-ons** are for: standalone products you add to a specific cycle, with a single, immediate charge. They don't change your regular subscription and they don't repeat on their own in future cycles — it's a one-time purchase, but coordinated with your plan's shipment.

## How add-ons work

The mechanics are simple:

* You pick an extra product from the portal.
* You're charged **right away** for that item through Mercado Pago (with your card present, entering the security code if required).
* The product is packed into your subscription's **next shipment**, along with your plan's regular items, so you receive a single delivery.

  The add-on's price is set by the store: it may have its own discount off the list price, different from your plan's discount. The exact amount is shown to you before you confirm.

  Add-ons can also appear **at the moment you subscribe**: if the product page offers one-time extras —or if you're building a **box** and the builder shows you the "Want to add something one time only?" step— the ones you pick are charged in the same signup checkout and travel with your first order.

## How to add an add-on

  <Step title="Enter the portal and select your active subscription">
    From your account in the store, go to **"My Subscription"** and choose the plan you want to add the extra product to.

  <Step title="Look for the available products">
    On your subscription's detail screen you'll see the products the store offers as add-ons, each with its price and an **Add** button.

  <Step title="Click «Add» on the one you want">
    The payment form opens with the amount to be charged.

  <Step title="Fill in your card details">
    Number, expiry month and year, and security code. They're processed directly with Mercado Pago.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the add-on">
    On confirming, the charge is processed immediately through Mercado Pago. You'll receive a payment notification for the add-on's amount.

  Once you confirm the add-on, **the charge has already been processed and can't be cancelled**. Check the product and the quantity carefully before confirming.

## Where do I see my add-on in the history?

  The add-on appears in your charge history with its own amount and payment receipt. When your subscription's next cycle arrives, the add-on is included as one more line on that order, so that **you receive a single delivery** with everything together.

If you have questions about your add-on's status or you don't see it reflected in the expected shipment, contact the store directly with the receipt number you'll find in the history.
