From the My Subscription portal you can manage your plan without messaging anyone. You get in from your account in the store, or from the link that arrives in the store’s emails.
Every change is recorded with a date and time in your subscription’s history, visible from the same screen.

What you can do

Pausing stops the charges without cancelling the plan. You can resume whenever you want and you don’t lose your settings.
If your plan has a minimum delivery commitment (you saw it when subscribing, e.g. “Minimum commitment of 3 deliveries”), the pause and cancel options only become available once you complete it. The portal shows you how many deliveries you’ve had and how many are left.
1

Enter the portal

From your account in the store, open My Subscription.
2

Choose the subscription

If you have more than one, select which one you want to pause.
3

Click «Pause»

It’s on the plan’s detail screen.
While it’s paused no charge is run and no shipment is generated.
On resuming, the charge cycle starts again from the date you resume, not from where it had left off. If you pause halfway through a month and resume two weeks later, that becomes your new charge date. It’s a characteristic of how Mercado Pago mandates work.
On the paused subscription’s screen you’ll find the resume option. The plan becomes active again immediately and the next charge is scheduled from that moment.
Have product left over this month? You can skip one delivery without pausing or cancelling: everything else stays the same —same price, same products, same card— and you start receiving again on the following delivery.
The “Skip” button only appears if the store enabled this option, and —just like pausing and cancelling— only once you’ve completed your plan’s minimum delivery commitment, if it had one. If you don’t see it, get in touch with the store.
1

Go into your subscription

If you have more than one, choose which.
2

Click «Skip»

It’s next to “Pause”, right at the top.
3

Confirm

We show you which delivery is skipped and when the next one falls. You can back out with “Never mind”.
You aren’t charged for the delivery you skipped. The following delivery’s date is shown in the portal right away, and it may shift by a few days when the automatic debit is reactivated — if it changes, you’ll see it updated right there. It’s a consequence of how Mercado Pago mandates work, not an error.
Your subscription isn’t left paused: it stays active, the charge just skips a turn. You don’t have to do anything to come back — it reactivates on its own. If you changed your mind, the “Cancel skip” button puts you back on the normal schedule.
You can change what you receive in each delivery: change the quantity, switch variant or product, and —if the store enabled it— add another product to the same subscription.
1

Open your subscription's detail

2

Adjust whatever you want to change

Use the quantity controls, the product selector, or the Add another product block if it’s available.
3

Click «Save changes»

The amount is recalculated automatically: products, proportional tax and also the shipping cost, which is re-quoted with the new composition (if your order now qualifies for free shipping, it’s applied; if it stops qualifying, it’s charged again).
The new amount applies from the next charge onward. The current cycle, if it has already been charged, doesn’t change.
The catalog of products available to change or add is defined by the store, so it may not include everything they sell.
If your subscription is a box (you picked the products in a builder when subscribing), changes are made with “Edit my box” — see the next item.
If your subscription is a box, in the portal you see it as a single item with its image, the products it carries and the total per delivery. The “Edit my box” button opens the editor:
1

Adjust the contents

Change quantities with the − / + controls, remove products or add them with the “Add a product…” selector. If your box has sizes, you can switch size. The projected total updates live, as does the notice of how much you’re missing to complete the box or to reach the next discount.
2

Click «Save changes»

The button appears once something has changed. You’ll see “Done — it applies to your next delivery”.
Changes take effect from your next delivery. If your next charge is very close (the delivery is already being prepared), the portal tells you so and you can edit the box as soon as it’s processed.
Useful details:
  • Additional products: you can add recurring products outside the box, which accompany each delivery at plan price. They don’t count toward the box’s size or its discounts.
  • If the store stopped offering a product you have in your box, you see it as “No longer offered — you can keep it”: you can keep it or lower its quantity, but not increase it or add it back if you remove it.
  • For a one-time extra (not recurring), use the usual add-ons.

Open your subscription's detail

2

Click «Edit» next to the address

3

Update the details and click «Save address»

The new address is used from the next shipment. If the current cycle’s order has already been generated, it goes to the previous address — in that case it’s best to get in touch with the store.
Changing only the address doesn’t recalculate the shipping cost: the current rate stays the same even if the new address is in a different zone. Shipping is re-quoted when you change the subscription’s products or quantities.
You can replace the card your subscription is charged to at any time — there’s no need to wait for a charge to fail.
1

Open your subscription's detail

2

Click «Change» next to Payment method

3

Enter the new card's details and click «Save card»

The details are processed directly with Mercado Pago: they never pass through the store’s servers.
Changing the card doesn’t modify anything else: the price, the next charge date and your history stay exactly the same. Future charges are simply made to the new card.
If your last charge failed, you’ll see the link highlighted inside that same declined-payment notice.
If the store offers add-ons, you’ll see a block with products you can add just once, without them being added to your recurring plan.
1

Click «Add» on the product you want

2

Fill in the card details

Number, expiry month and year, and security code. The charge is immediate and is processed directly with Mercado Pago.
It’s charged right away, but it ships with your next delivery — that way everything arrives together in a single shipment. If you cancel the subscription before that delivery, the product you already paid for still ships, in a separate order.
More detail in Add-ons.

Open your subscription's detail

2

Click «Cancel subscription»

3

Confirm on the confirmation screen

You’ll see a dropdown with the cancellation reason. It’s optional: if you’d rather not say, leave the “I’d rather not say” option and confirm anyway. Nobody is going to ask you to justify leaving.
Cancellation is final: if you cancel yourself, to come back you have to subscribe again from the product page. If you only need a temporary break, use Pause instead of cancelling. (The exception is a subscription cancelled due to failed charges: that one can be reactivated from the portal — see below.) If your plan has a minimum delivery commitment, cancellation becomes available once you complete it.

What you can’t do from the portal

It’s worth being clear about this, because these are limitations of how Mercado Pago’s recurring charges work, not decisions made by the store.
There are two different card forms in the portal: the Payment method one replaces your subscription’s card, and the add-ons one charges a one-time purchase without touching your subscription.

If your payment fails

When a charge is declined, Mercado Pago retries it on its own over the following days. You don’t have to do anything for it to retry, and the store can’t force a new attempt either. In your portal you’ll see a notice stating that the last charge couldn’t be processed, with a button to change the payment method right there. If the problem is the card (expired, no credit limit, closed), enter a new one: the following retries are made against it. If the card is fine, it’s enough to make sure it has available funds or credit limit. If the retries run out, Mercado Pago cancels the mandate and your subscription is left cancelled — but not all is lost: in the portal you’ll see the Reactivate subscription button.

Reactivating a subscription cancelled for non-payment

On reactivating, a new subscription is created with the same products and your same shipping address, paying with a new card:
  • The first charge is immediate, which sets your new charge date for the following cycles.
  • The price is the plan’s current list price — any discounts the previous subscription had don’t carry over.
  • The cancelled subscription remains as a reference in your history; the new one starts from scratch.
If any of the products is no longer available for subscription, the portal tells you so and the route is to subscribe again from the product page.
